The Pimalai Resort and Spa is an elegant boutique resort on untouched Lanta Island in the Andaman Sea, Southern Thailand

One of the pristine islands in Krabi province, Koh Lanta, is today a haven for Pimalai Resort & Spa.  Built within the rainforest as it meets the silver strand, you would hardly know it was there.

The boutique beach resort occupies 100 acres of tropical vegetation with a direct access to a 900 meters stretch of pristine sandy beach and offers 79 elegantly appointed rooms, suites and villas.

Superior Room : Our superior rooms are set in sixteen low-rise southern Thai style houses, each containing 4 rooms. Rooms are spacious with a minimum of 48 square meters including your own private balcony overlooking great landscapes.

     All are air-conditioned, feature polished teak wood floor, rattan curtains, rich Thai fabric and are equipped with either king size or twin beds. The bathroom either opens onto the bedroom or overlooks the garden. Very well appointed, it features bathtub, separate walk-in shower and toilets.

Suite Two Bedrooms : In the Pavilion Suite Two Bedrooms, the second bedroom is equipped with twin beds and features an oversized bathroom with double vanity basins and a bathtub overlooking a private manicured garden equipped with an open-air shower. The second bedroom is well detached from the master bedroom and living room building and therefore offers complete privacy to its occupants.

Beach Villa : Spectacularly located, hidden away among coconut palms and lush tropical vegetation and adjacent to the main resort are the seven Beach Villas. In line with the resort southern style architecture, the superb villas set peacefully within landscaped garden and with direct access to Ba Kan Tiang pristine sandy beach. Spacious, thoughtfully designed with refined elegance and comfort, the villas one, two and three bedrooms offer privacy and unrivaled views of the beach and the Andaman sea towards a brilliant Thai sunset.
Beach Villa One Bedroom : The Beach Villas One Bedroom are set within landscaped garden and facing the sea. Their living space including the outdoor wooden deck is approximately 170 Sq.m. The villa consists of a large bedroom equipped with a king-size bed and decorated in a refined Thai style interior design including polished teak wood floor, rattan curtains and Siamese artifacts. The adjacent oversized bathroom includes double vanity basins, walk-in shower and toilets; also featured is a great panel glass encased bathtub overlooking a miniature garden also equipped with an outdoor shower. A refreshing 55 Sq.m. swimming pool - shared with 3 other small villas - is located just a step away from your villa and meters away from the beach. The four Beach Villas One Bedroom can be booked as a whole and provide an ideal private "estate" for a large party of 12 to 14 persons. A living room, a dining room and kitchen facilities are available to complete your own little private estate.

Beach Villa Two Bedrooms : The Beach Villas Two Bedrooms are set within landscaped garden and facing the sea. With a living space of about 350 sqm., and decorated in a classy contemporary Thai style, these Villas consists of 2 air-conditioning bedrooms with large bathrooms equipped with outdoor bathtub. An open air living room and dining area (with adjacent kitchen facilities) equipped with TV and CD/DVD sets overlooks your own private 35 square meter infinity-edge swimming pool providing magnificent views of the Andaman sea.

Pool Villa One Bedroom : Each villa has a total living area of 204 Sq.m. built on a hilly land with the size ranging from 700 to 1000 Sq.m. Spacious, elegant and unpretentious in their architectural design, it provides commanding views of Kan Tiang bay and the surrounding lush tropical forest. The villa consists of a master bedroom facing the bay; it is equipped with either, king size bed or twin beds and decorated in contemporary Thai style.
          The adjacent bathroom includes double vanity basins, walk-in shower equipped with rain-shower, and a large bathtub set behind a window panel overlooking the bay and the tropical garden. The bedroom is equipped with air-conditioning and ceiling fan and it also features a 25" TV set and a CD/DVD player. Step outside onto a spacious sundeck and plunge into your refreshing 5.5 x 3.5 meters infinity-edge private pool; an outdoor Thai style sala also awaits for you to relax or to receive private spa treatments whenever needed. Across the sundeck is your living room also equipped with a 29" TV set and a CD/DVD player.

The Pool Villas One & Two Bedrooms are situated some 60 meters above sea level in a serene rainforest and offers unrivalled ocean views, magnificent sunsets and all round total privacy. The Villas have all steep drop-off from the terraces and infinity-edge pool so parents with young children who wish to book such Villas should be aware that they will have to be especially vigilant in safeguarding their young ones from these potential dangers.
 

Baan Pimalai Restaurant : The main restaurant offers an outdoor dining area with sweeping views of the resort's infinity-edge swimming pool, the landscaped gardens and the bay. A great breakfast buffet is served daily whilst lunch and dinner "a la carte" menus offer both Thai and Western dining choices

Spice 'N Rice Thai Restaurant : This air-conditioned Thai restaurant offers classic Thai food dining.   Authentic around Thailand fare and traditional favorites such as 'Tom Yum Goong', are prepared with the freshest ingredients, artfully presented and full of flavor

Rak Talay Beach Bar & Restaurant : This bar and restaurant, is located right on the beach, nestled beneath towering trees from where guest can take in the sweeping views of the Andaman Sea and gentle southern breezes.  The menu features casual light snacks, including salads, pasta pizzas and great sandwiches.  In the evenings guest can choose from an abundant array of fresh, succulent seafood caught locally.  Grilled, steamed or fried the chefs are there to prepare your favorite dish to your liking.

The Seven Seas Wine Bar & Restaurant : Located on the upper level, The Seven Seas Restaurant provides a sea view that is unparalleled and an elegantly styled facility that is unbeatable. The restaurant and its show kitchen offers a comprehensive "a la carte" fusion style dinner menu which means that superior ingredients from all over the globe are marinated, cooked and served together on the same plate - generating a symphony of flavors in perfect harmony.
          A wide-ranging collection of international wines has been assembled from which you can select an ideal accompaniment to your meal.

The Banyan Tree Poolside Café :  Adjacent to the spectacular 50 meters long infinity-edge pool, this al fresco restaurant is a great place to enjoy all-time favorites, including wood-fired pizzas; it is also the perfect place for admiring the nearby tropical forest, the wide stretch of beach below, the islands on the horizon, the amazing sunsets and, after dark, the lights of the many fishing boats dotting the ocean... and, all of this while sipping on one of our great Pina Colada or Matai drinks.

Pimalai spa: Set in a lush sloping valley, lies Pimalai Spa, where the winds bring flashes of light fragrances to the small walled treatment rooms, each named after a local flower. The Spa aims at bringing back guests to nature; built in the shape of a village style, the pretty small straw roofed 'Salas' blend totally with the natural beauty of the jungle.
